The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Innovation Centre in Lagos is set to host a dynamic week-long Co-Creation Programme that will convene stakeholders from various segments across Nigeria’s innovation ecosystem. Scheduled for June 2nd to June 5th, 2025, the initiative aims to collaboratively shape the Centre’s value offering in alignment with its strategic priorities and Nigeria’s development goals. The programme is supported by Africa-focused innovation and technology publication, TechCabal, and its sister intelligence firm, TechCabal Insights.
Launched in 2024, the UNDP Innovation Centre was established to drive inclusive innovation, support the scaling of technology solutions, and promote sustainable development through innovation and digital transformation. This Co-Creation Week marks a major milestone in the Centre’s mission to act not as a passive convener, but as an active catalyst for transformative development through innovation, collaboration, and impact.
Over four days, the Centre will engage a broad cross-section of stakeholders—including startups, innovation hubs, academic institutions, investors, tech companies, networks and non-profits—to design and co-own initiatives that accelerate development across the country. It will constitute a reference group that will over see the design and development of the offering, following the initial days of co-creating the initiatives of the offers.
