Celebrating Female Tech Enthusiasts

In honor of International Women’s Day, Huawei Technologies, in collaboration with the Office of the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, celebrated outstanding female students who excelled in the Huawei ICT Academy and the Women in Tech training program.

The event, themed “Cultivating Talent Through ICT Training for a Prosperous Nigeria,” emphasized the importance of accelerating progress toward gender equality and promoting inclusive growth.

Since 2018, Huawei has provided ICT training to over 70,000 Nigerians, including more than 30,000 students, 35,000 ICT engineers, 240 female entrepreneurs, and over 3,000 civil servants. This initiative showcases Huawei’s commitment to supporting the current administration’s Three Million Technical Talent (3MTT) program through its ICT Academy.
