China Integrates AI to Address Elderly Care Amid Aging Population

China is accelerating the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data into its elderly and social care services to tackle challenges posed by its aging population and declining workforce.

Civil Affairs Minister Lu Zhiyuan announced plans to develop and apply new technologies in social assistance and services for the disabled, aiming to make these services more convenient and standardized.
