Global Smartphone Market Rebounds, Grows by 4%

Following two challenging years, the Global smartphone market has rebounded, recording a 4% year-on-year growth last year, Counterpoint Research reveals.

The research attributed this recovery to improved global economic conditions, with markets like Europe, China, and Latin America leading the growth. Research Director, Tarun Pathak, described 2024 as a year of recovery and normalization, noting that smartphones remain essential to daily life.

This status marks five consecutive quarters of growth after sales hit a decade low in 2023.
