IFI celebrates high-impact philanthropic organizations investing in Africa’s youth, scientific and innovation capacity, and sustainable development.
Through this recognition, we seek to create awareness and awaken all Africans, including policy makers and general public on the work of these organizations and to engage in addressing challenges of fragmentation, alignment with local need as well as misinformation about their work in Africa. This first edition of IFI features three international foundations that are making significant strides in Africa. Here, we profile and celebrate: Mastercard Foundation, Gates Foundation, and Wellcome Trust.
