IDEA TV Appoints Dr. Zulaihat Hassan as Youth Ambassador for Women’s and Reproductive Health
Abuja, 21 September 2026 — IDEA TV, Africa’s Innovation and Development Television, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Zulaihat Hassan Nasiha as its Youth Ambassador for Women’s and Reproductive Health.

Ms. Nasiha is a medical doctor, public health professional and an educator who uses digital media to educate women about their health in Nigeria, especially in rural communities of Northern Nigeria. Her new initiative “Your Health4You”, which will be launched in due course focuses on reproductive education in schools. Dr. Nasiha currently serves as a Resident Doctor at the Abuja General Hospital.

Through the partnership, IDEA TV and Dr. Nasiha will seek to strengthen public communication around women’s and reproductive health, particularly by making evidence-based health information more accessible to young people and communities.
IDEA TV is Africa’s first Innovation Television, based in Abuja, Nigeria, with a focus on communicating science, research, innovation and development to wider audiences.
